Making Friends

Ribbit and I made some friends. He made friends with a bear and a dog and he made friends with a sheep and a baby.

Ribbit Loves Soccer

This is Ribbit at my soccer game. I have nine teammates and our uniform is yellow. My father is my coach, and my sister is my assistant coach and referee. My favorite position is sweeper. Sweeper is the last defender and plays at the back of the field. "Yay!" Someone just scored a goal.

Ribbit at a Baby Luau

This is Ribbit at a baby luau. The weather is terrible for a party. It is pouring, foggy, and humid. There is a jumping castle and live music. The baby got lots of presents. I gave her four new books. Ribbit is trying to keep dry under a tree.

Ribbit Goes to the Maui Arts and Cultural Center

This is Ribbit at the MACC. We're watching a show from Canada called Cirque Eloize. It is really cool. There are lots of circus acts. The performers are strong and flexible. I like the hula hoop act the best. A man stands inside the hula hoop and makes it spin and twirl around the stage. There is also a cool act involving one man balancing on his shoulders on top of another man's shoulders.

More Fun with Ribbit

Ribbit had a fun week at our house.The first day, he kept on hopping away, so we thought he might need a leash until he settled in.He swam in the pond under the plant, jumped up to thetop bannister and even won a trophy from his amazingsoccer goalie abilities.

On our third adventure, we took Ribbit to the recycle center. We gave our cans and plastic bottles to the lady and she paid us. I put the monies into my savings account at the bank. We recycle to save the Earth.

WOW! Ribbit checks out a Venus Fly Trap

On our second adventure, Ribbit and I fed my Venus Fly Trap a fly. My Mom caught a fly and gave it to the plant. We watched it for a long time. It takes a long time for the Venus Fly Trap to eat it.

Ribbit Goes to Tennis Lessons

On our first adventure, I took Ribbit to Tennis class. Ribbit watched me play tennis with my friends. Ribbit and I had a good time.

September 19 through September 28

During Ribbit’s visit at my house she did many exciting things.

Here are some of the fun things she did. Ribbit and I spent a lot of time together doing somersaults, drawing, and feeding the horses in myback yard.We went to Hookipa beach and watched a surfing competition. Ribbit even got to try surfing. We walked the beach and searched for shells and Pipipi, and then we had to leave because it started to rain.

The next day I had a friend come over for a sleep over for my birthday. We all baked a cake, played dress up, and put on perfume. On the day of my birthday, Ribbit came with my family to eat at Dragon, Dragon (Chinese resturant), and she got to meet my aunts, uncles, grandparents, great and great-great grandmothers. I had a lot of fun with Ribbit.
